Dr. Bharat Kumar, BVSc & AH, DVM

Medical Director | Holistic Integrated Veterinarian

Dr. Bharat Kumar brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to veterinary care, blending modern medicine with holistic healing to support pets in every stage of life. As the founder of Comfort Paws Mobile Vet, he believes that pets thrive when treated as whole beings — body, mind, and spirit.

Originally from Rohtak, India, Dr. Kumar grew up surrounded by animals — dogs, cats, goats, parrots, pigs, and buffaloes were part of daily life. His love of veterinary care was inspired by his great-grandfather, a veterinary nurse whose gentle approach left a lasting impression. Those early experiences shaped Dr. Kumar’s core values: compassion, practicality, fairness, and dedication.
After earning his veterinary degree in 2009, Dr. Kumar worked at Animal Aid Unlimited Shelter in Udaipur, caring for stray and injured animals. He later moved to the U.S., completing his clinical training at the University of Illinois and becoming licensed in 2017. Since then, he has practiced in both primary and emergency settings across Wisconsin, Illinois, and California.

Dr. Kumar’s passion for holistic care began early in life through meditation and energy work. He trained at the mediation center in the Himalayas and is a certified Reiki practitioner, integrating gentle energy healing into his care. He also completed training in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at Chi University, allowing him to offer a more integrative, personalized path to healing.

Dr. Kumar is committed to creating calm, low-stress experiences for pets and their families. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys singing, reading biographies, and quiet time in nature.
“What I love most is getting to know my patients and their families — building trust and offering care that helps them feel their best.” – Dr. Kumar

Zaneta Rocha, RVT, FFCP, CFVP, CPEP

Practice Manager

Zaneta Rocha brings over a decade of veterinary experience with a heart-centered, integrative approach to animal wellness. Born and raised on a dairy farm in the Czech Republic, her bond with animals began early — rooted in daily life and deep intuitive connection.

After graduating from Los Angeles Pierce College in 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology, Zaneta became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2014. Her career spans across diverse specialties including Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and General Practice — but her true passion lies in whole-being care.

As a seasoned Practice Manager, Zaneta has led multiple veterinary practices with a vision of compassionate leadership, team harmony, and elevated patient care. Her management style balances high-level clinical standards with a deeply empathetic, mindful approach to client communication and staff wellness.

Zaneta’s commitment to healing goes far beyond conventional medicine. She holds certifications in:
• Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional (CPEP)
• Elite Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP)
• Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional (CFVP)
• Animal Naturopathy
She is also a dedicated energy worker, currently expanding her practice in modalities that support emotional release, energetic balance, and conscious end-of-life transitions for both animals and their humans.

Zaneta previously taught veterinary technician students through Platt College’s distance education program and continues to inspire others in the field through mentorship and integrative care.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her dancing salsa, exploring hiking trails, cooking nourishing meals, or getting lost in a good book.

“My dream is to create the next level of excellence in veterinary medicine by providing care and compassion with healing presence, intuition, and heart.”– Zaneta Rocha

Pavel Rodt

Veterinary Assistant, CRS

Pavel brings a calm, intuitive presence and a deep-rooted love for animals to his role as Veterinary Assistant at Comfort Paws Mobile Vet. Born and raised on a family farm in the Czech Republic, he has always felt a close connection to nature, animals, and the natural rhythm of the earth — values that now guide his gentle, holistic approach to veterinary care.

Although originally trained as an auto mechanic, Pavel’s heart always belonged to animals. His journey led him from working with machines to helping living beings heal and thrive. Since joining Comfort Paws, he has found profound meaning in supporting pets and their families through hands-on care, mindfulness, and genuine compassion.

Pavel not only shares a healing philosophy with Dr. Kumar, but also a family bond with our Practice Manager, Zaneta Rocha, his sister. Together, they bring warmth, integrity, and a shared vision of heart-centered, integrative care to every home they visit.

Clients often describe Pavel’s peaceful energy and the effortless trust he builds with both pets and people. His gentle manner helps even the most anxious animals feel safe and at ease — turning each visit into a moment of connection, not just a clinical appointment.

When he’s not assisting with treatments or phone calls, Pavel loves tending to his garden, foraging for wild mushrooms (a lifelong passion), and practicing meditation to maintain inner balance. In his free time, he cherishes every moment spent with his wife Dileam, their two dogs Akasha and Buddy, and their curious cat Himawarican.
